As I said in my last post, staying in PA with family gave us an opportunity to step away from our kids for a little while! The boys played outside and snuggled with people that weren’t us! It was really great since for the rest of the trip we don’t have any definite plans to stay with any friends or family, so this may be the final time we get a little break from the boys for the next... 12 days. Typing that gave me goosebumps. In all seriousness though our boys have really been great! I think when we prepare for the worst our kids maybe can sense that, and thrive, just to prove us wrong.
Sunday consisted of watching cartoons, Teddy chasing the dog all over the house, Henry playing with buckets of sand and water outside with plastic animals in them, laundry (!!!!!!), and it was a really perfect day. Henry had a big smile on his face last night and asked me “are we going to live here?” Melted my heart for sure. <3
